What does Fillomino mean?
Fillomino is an abridged version of the words 'Filled' and 'polyomino' which relates to shapes of a varying number of multiple cells.
This makes sense as the aim of the puzzle is to fit together islands of different values so they fit together to create the filled grid, in a similar way to you might bring all the different shapes in Tetris together as much as possible so there is no space between any shapes if possible.
