Adult Dot To Dot Puzzles
Recently there has been a trend for what are considered to be traditionally children's puzzles to be turned into adult versions. Whether under the name of anti-stress, mindfulness or simply as a new challenge, these sorts of puzzles are proving increasingly popular. It started with colouring for adults, and now the trend has moved on to other puzzle types such as adult dot-to-dots.
Whilst we have created dot-to-dots for children for many years, we have recently started creating adult dot-to-dot puzzles, in response to client demand.
Whilst the core puzzle is the same, the adult dot-to-dot puzzle has many more dots in the puzzle. Whereas a children's puzzle might typically have around 100 dots it is not uncommon for an adult puzzle to have around 1,000 dots in - or even more at times! Due to the extra difficulty, the adult dot-to-dots will often have various line segments rather than a single continuous line, to enable sufficient detail to be incorporated. The end of a chain is displayed in our puzzles with a white dot with a black outline, rather than a filled black dot as usual, but this can be changed as required. Finding the next line segment in a puzzle with so many dots adds to the challenge!
Puzzles can be created based on artwork you provide, or based on artwork created in-house. Even colour dot-to-dots are possible, if you publish in colour this can add a new twist to the dot-to-dot solving experience.
