The i Book of Sudoku
![The i book of Sudoku](../ibookofsudoku.jpg)
The book contains a total of 200 puzzles. The Sudoku puzzles are split into three different levels of difficulty, these are easy, medium and hard.
The 'easy' level puzzles equate in difficulty to the easier Sudoku puzzle in the daily i newspaper, whilst the 'medium' level puzzle equates to the harder of the two daily sudokus in the i.
The 'hard' Sudoku puzzles are therefore harder than the puzzles that appear in the newspaper, in that they require trickier solving rules (not just looking at what can be placed in each square, or where each number could be placed in a region).
In addition to the 160 standard Sudoku puzzles, the book also contains a total of 40 idoku puzzles, for fans of the idoku puzzle which is unique to the i newspaper.
For those not familiar with idoku, the puzzle is a customised twist on the standard puzzle, and also has 1-9 once in each row, column and 3x3 box. However in addition there is one extra region in the shape of the letter 'i' which must also have 1-9 placed into it once. In the book this region is shaded grey.
