What is sumdoku?
Sumdoku is a logic and maths puzzle. It first appeared in the UK under the name of kenken, however that name is a trademark and therefore in most places online you will see it under a range of different names.
The names you will see this puzzle under include hitoshii, square wisdom, mathdoku, calcudoku and also sumdoku.
The puzzle is a progression of killer sudoku, which is itself a variant of sudoku that splits the grid into sets of cells, called cages, that sum to a specified total.
