What is samurai star?
Samurai star is a distinctive type of sudoku puzzle.
It is a samurai type puzzle which means that it consists of several puzzles that overlap.
There is very strong overlapping and it can be seen as five puzzles with one in the middle totally contained by regions of the other, giving it the distinctive shape that is most like the '+' symbol on the keyboard, though it is usually known as samurai star, and sometimes as flower sudoku.
