The i Book of Codewords
We are pleased to announce the release of a brand new book, the i Book of Codewords which contains 100 brand new codeword puzzles.
All the puzzles are of the same type and difficulty as in the newspaper, containing three clue letters per puzzle to get you started.
We hope that you enjoy this collection of brand new codeword puzzles, whether you have solved the codeword puzzle in the daily newspaper for a number of years or are relatively new to this fun puzzle type.
The solutions are all included at the back of the book.
For those new to the puzzle type, the rules are simple: there are 26 numbers in the grid, 1-26, and each stands for a different letter of the alphabet. So 1 could stand for T, for instance. Every letter of the alphabet appears in the grid at least once, which is called a pangram. And the same number always stands for the same letter in a puzzle, so if 1 stands for T, everytime you see 1 in the top left corner of a square you can enter a T in to the square.
If you are looking for solving tips on codeword puzzles, there are some codewords tips here. If you are interested in solving codewords online, you should take a look at the Solve codewords online section of the Wordy Puzzle website.
Finally, whilst if you get stuck solving a codeword in the i book of codewords you can check the solutions at the back, if you ever get stuck on a newspaper puzzle, you can always use our online codeword solver tool.
We really hope you enjoy the i Book of Codewords - if you have any comments, questions, or any other puzzle types you'd like to see in puzzle book format, please do use the comments section below to let us know.
