Quiz Supplier : Case Study : RFU
LoweWorldwide marketing agency required a fun and innovative Quiz Challenge to be created for the Rugby Football Union, as an integral part of the marketing campaign for the 2007 Varsity Rugby Match.
The Quiz Challenge was placed online, and Oxford and Cambridge students were challenged to compete against each other and see which university had the better students, based on those who got the highest scores in the quiz.
The questions contained a mix of atypical maths conundrums together with questions on a range of topics, phrased in a witty way to engage students and test their academic rigours; and the sports round required a knowledge of the history of the Varsity rugby matches.
Questions were produced on these topics: Rugby, History, Politics, Maths and General.

- In which year were there two Varsity matches?- In which year was the first rugby international at Twickenham played?
If the crowd at Twickenham is at full capacity of 82,000, of which 45% are Oxford supporters, how many scarves are seen in the air when Oxford score a try, given that 70% of Oxford fans celebrate in that manner?
