What does Slitherlink mean?
Slitherlink is an English name and applies to the fact that the link or chain around the puzzle 'slithers' around it a little bit like a snake can slither around into all sorts of shapes.
As such it is quite a descriptive and good name for a puzzle and really does describe what it does!
