Novelty Word Search
Children and adults alike have enjoyed playing word search puzzles for many, many years. The rules of the puzzle are simple and finding the hidden words remains an engaging challenge to this day.
However on some occasions you may be looking for something a little bit different to the standard wordsearch puzzle, and rather than having the standard rules whereby all the answers are hidden in a straight line, a variant novelty word search can make an intriguing and refreshing change.
Our patterned word search contain the words hidden in a range of shapes, for instance in the shape of letters of the alphabet - such as the 'S' pattern displayed in the sample image on this page. Puzzles can contain a single shaped pattern or several. For instance, a puzzle containing both the shaped regions 'M' and 'L' could be included in a puzzle - particularly great if the initials of your company name also happen to be M and L!
In addition to alphabet letters, other types of patterns can be added. You can even design and request your own pattern! The only requirement is, of course, that the letters may be placed in the shape to spell out the word continuously; therefore shapes that have junctions and require the letters to split in two different directions are not permissible.
