Skeleton Crosswords
Welcome to this collection of skeleton crosswords, featuring 50 puzzles in total. Unlike standard crosswords, a skeleton crossword features an incomplete grid, meaning that the grid pattern needs to be deduced at the same time as the puzzle is being solved. The grid is almost empty and there are no word lengths provided after the clues, however the grids are symmetrical. This means that if the first square in a skeleton crossword is a solution square, then so is the last one in the grid. On the other hand, if it is a filled square (a blank), then so is the last square in the grid. The information provided in the start position of the grid can be used to deduce further placement information. It is important to use this information in order to solve the puzzles. Each of the 50 skeleton crosswords included in the book has a different grid pattern, and some information will be provided with each puzzle. Solutions are provided at the back of the book for the solver to check their answers once they have completed the puzzles.
