Futoshiki
Welcome to this fantastic collection of 100 futoshiki puzzles. Futoshiki is a variant of sudoku. To solve a futoshiki puzzle, the solver is required to place each number from 1 – 5 exactly once in each row and column in the 5x5 futoshiki grid. The greater than (>) and less than (<) signs are placed in between certain adjacent cells, and they indicate that the number placed in one cell is greater than, or less than, the neighbouring cell. The book contains 100 puzzles grouped by levels of difficulty: easy, medium and hard. There are 35 easy puzzles, 35 medium puzzles and 30 hard puzzles included within the book. The solver is required to ascertain whether there is only one number that can fit into a given square, or if there is only one square within a row or column that a number can be placed. Solutions are included at the back of the book.
