Children's Codewords
Welcome to this brilliant collection of 50 children's codewords. The book is printed to an 8”x11” size on high quality paper, which means that it is well-suited to making notes and scribbles in the course of completing the puzzles. In a codeword puzzle, each letter of the alphabet is swapped with a number from 1 – 26. Each number represents a different letter of the alphabet, and this will change in each puzzle. For example, in puzzle 1, the number 6 represents the letter P. Therefore, the letter 'P' should be entered in the puzzle grid of puzzle 1 everytime the solver sees the number 6 in the grid. Some letters are provided at the start of each puzzle, but as the puzzles become more difficult, less starting letters will be provided. Every letter from A – Z appears at least once in every puzzle, which means that it makes sense to cross off each letter as the solver finds it in the bar of letters directly underneath the grid. The end result will be a valid crossword solution, filled with words that can be found in the dictionary. Solutions are provided at the back of the book to check answers, or if the solver gets stuck while completing the codewords.
