ABC Puzzles
ABC puzzles are small but very addictive and great fun. These puzzles are ideal in a small size as an introduction to logical thinking and logical puzzles for children, but equally larger puzzles can be a real challenge for adults. Each ABC puzzle is composed of letters and a blank cell (empty space). In a 4 x 4, the letters are A, B, C combined with a space. In a 5 x 5, you have A, B, C and two spaces.
There are also versions of the puzzle that are larger, for instance 6 x 6 with A, B, C, D and two spaces. Some publishers will use different rules again with different configurations, so it is important to check the instructions carefully with each puzzle you play to ensure you are using the right ruleset for that puzzle!
Outside the grid next to a row or column a letter may appear; this means that the first cell you encounter in that row or column that is not a space must be the letter mentioned. Thus if there is a 'B' next to a row, you know the first cell is either a space or a B.
