Word Puzzles: Anagramalgam

One word puzzle that is particularly popular in word work outs and mental exercise sections is the anagramalgam.

This is a simple word puzzle where you must use the anagram of a given word, combined with the given letters in the partial solution, to answer a clue. The clues, anagrams and words you must use in the anagrams are, however, scrambled. Here is a sample anagramalgam (answers at bottom of page):
