What strategies are there for solving letter fit?
The main strategy is to start by looking at the length of words for which you have least options.
Sometimes there will only be one word of a particular word length and in which case you can place it straight away.
Then move onto the next word length with the least options, and then start looking at options of how words fit together. If placing a word would mean that there are no options for another run on the puzzle, then you know that it cannot be placed there.
This is the key way of working your way through the puzzle and solving it - by seeing which combinations work together and which don't, and in that way narrowing down the options until you work out the word that must go in each location on the puzzle.
