What is tentai show?
This is a Nikoli puzzle that is played on a rectangular grid.
Cells at the start of the puzzle are blank, and may contain white or black circles, though not necessarily.
It is a game of symmetry, and you must split the puzzle grid into regions in accordance with the rules:
- Each region contains either a white or a black circle in it (exactly - never more, never less)
- Each region is symmetrical about the circle it contains
In a manner similar to hanjie, an added point of interest is that when you colour in the regions that contain the black circles you will get a basic picture.
