What strategies will help me to solve word pyramid puzzles?
When solving word pyramid puzzles, then you should scan the list of clues to find one where you think there is definitely only one answer, and start from that place on the grid.
Because since the answers are all intimately linked if you are not sure of at least one of the answers then you could get totally stuck as you try to find anagrams that aren't actually there as a word is wrong in the grid!
Once you have a word you are sure is right, then use your knowledge of crossword clues together with your anagram skills to work out words higher and lower in the grid.
You might like to start at the longer words and try to move backwards, as many report they find it easier to find smaller anagrams where they take out a letter, rather than longer anagrams that require them to add a letter.
