Custom Content Management Systems

A content management system (CMS) is a tool that can be used to manage the content on a website through an interface of varying levels of sophistication.

Depending on design and requirements, a CMS can be something very simple that allows the publisher to manager a small set of key tasks such as update existing content within a templated area of a page, or it can be something much larger and all encompassing that enables virtually all elements of a site to be controlled with relative ease.

Other differentiation can include the ability to create test versions or live versions of content pages, include audit processes and the ability to have a formal log and review process in place (normally has specialised use for instance in large companies that need a clear understanding of what is on their website and who authorised it to go live).

For small businesses, it often seems that the only option is to use an off-the-shelf open source CMS system. However, for many even the installation of these can be daunting and customisation can soon cost a lot of money for those with little expertise.

Our custom CMS's can be built to cater for just what you need and be as simple or as complicated as you like. If you simply want to be able to add articles, change page content and perhaps re-structure your menu, then we have a solution for you. Or if you want something much more comprehensive but still streamlined, again we can custom build a solution for you.

For more information please contact us with details about your requirements for the CMS (or information about what you need to be able to do) and we will be in touch to discuss the options as soon as possible.
