Number Squares
Welcome to this collection of number square puzzles. To solve this type of puzzle, the solver is required to enter the numbers from 1 – 9 once each into the puzzle grid, in order to complete the maths sums that read across and down the puzzle grid. The calculations must be performed from top to bottom and from left to right. The book includes three levels of difficulty: easy, medium and hard. Two starting numbers are provided in the easy puzzles, meaning that there will be seven other numbers to place. One starting number is placed in the medium puzzles, so there will be eight other numbers to place. No starting numbers are provided in the hard puzzles, so the solver will be required to place all nine numbers. Each puzzle, regardless of its level of difficulty, only has one solution. Solutions are included at the back of the book for the solver to check their answers once they have completed the number squares, or if they get stuck while doing the puzzles.
