Maths Mazes
Welcome to this fabulous collection of maths mazes, which are the perfect gift for those who enjoy doing mazes and who would also relish the opportunity to practice their maths and mental arithmetic in a fun and enjoyable way. The book features four levels of difficulty: easy, medium, hard and expert. As the solver works their way through the book, the mazes becoem bigger and the difficulty level gets harder. The first mazes require only addition and subtraction, but the harder difficulty levels require the solver to perform multiplication and division as well. The puzzles function as a standard maze, but there are also sums along the solution route. Once the solver has found the solution, they will be required to go back through and work out the sum that passes through the solution route, starting from 0. So, if the first sum found by the solver is +5, then the solver will need to add 5 to zero to get 5. If the next sum is x4, then the solver will calculate that 5x4 = 20, and so on, working through the sums in the order the solver reaches them from start to finish in the maze. Solutions are included at the back of the book for the solver to check their answers once done, or if they get stuck while completing the maths mazes puzzles.
